Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications, primarily using Java and Spring frameworks. You will work on various projects that involve modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, virtualization solutions, and containerization. Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
– Work with a Maven-based build ecosystem to ensure efficient and effective build processes.
– Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on tools like Jenkins, to automate and streamline deployment processes.
– Utilize virtualization and containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage and deploy applications.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate new features and functionalities.
– Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
– Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to maintain the reliability and scalability of software systems.
– Stay updated with the latest technology trends and bring innovative ideas to the team.
– Familiarity with Hashicorp tools such as Consul and Nomad is a plus, contributing to infrastructure management and orchestration.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in developing cloud-based applications using Java and Spring.
– Strong understanding of Maven-based build ecosystems.
– Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
– Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
– Familiarity with Hashicorp tools like Consul and Nomad is a plus.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Czech is an advantage.
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
